Our company was founded in 1985 by our director Jim Luck who had previously spent 14 years in retailing in Louth before deciding to venture into business on his own behalf. Initially we started out by selling luggage, handbags and leathergoods from our premises at 87 Eastgate in Louth with the aim of providing quality and value not only in terms of product but in customer service and environment. These values, we like to think, are still the main criteria for the running of our now greatly enlarged operation.

In 1985 the shop on Eastgate in Louth had a selling area of approximately 150 square feet and sold only a few select brands. Initially constrained by a lack of floor space our ability to expand was limited but gradually we have expanded by means of acquisition and alteration to boast a selling area spread over 2 floors in excess of 1000 air conditioned square feet. Over the years from starting out entirely on his own with no other staff, our founding director now has 6 employees, most of whom have been with us for many years, to assist in the running of our thriving and expanding business. We hope that when you visit our store you will find expert guidance with any purchase that you make or advice that you may need. All our staff are trained to have product knowledge second to none and are here to make the buying experience a pleasure not a chore.

This expansion has enabled us to increase the depth and range of our product mix and we now offer in addition to our original core products from the leathergoods industry one of the best selections of ladies and gentlemen's countrywear in the area. We have a men's shoe department and a focused selection of country footwear for our lady customers. We also offer an ancillary collection of accessories for the shooting enthusiast.

You will see on entering our website the names of many of our suppliers, but please do not think this is a definitive list. We are proud stockists of many of the leading suppliers in the luggage, handbag, travelgoods, leathergoods, countrywear, menswear, ladieswear, footwear and accessories industries. We value our close association with these suppliers, many of whom we have dealt with for in excess of 20 years and because of this we are able to provide an after sales service second to none. Additionally our experience and ability allows us to source special orders, requests or repairs quickly and efficiently, be it a replacement Radley dog for that much loved handbag, spare parts for your Samsonite case, new soles for your favourite Loake shoes or a reproof for your Barbour jacket.
